Happy New Year

Happy New Year's Eve! I must say 2015 was a pretty amazing year. I got to travel to and explore a new city. I rescued a cat. I got engaged. It was wonderful to spend it with my now fiancé, and I can't wait to see what 2016 has in store :) 

Holiday Glam

I love wearing sparkly, glam jewelry around the holidays. I actually bought this bracelet a while ago {when it was on major sale!}, and I've been dying to wear it on or around Christmas. Friday, I'm In Love: Red Wine Hot Chocolate

Happy Friday! I mentioned {here} that I wanted to try this red wine hot chocolate recipe, and I finally did. It was delicious, and was even better with homemade whipped cream{I used Alton Brown's homemade whipped cream recipe here}. Tonight, we will try another new drink recipe {here} in addition to Southern Living's{Prosciutto-Wrapped Duck with Gumbo Gravy}. Have a very merry weekend! :)

Mani Monday: Christmas Edition

 Happy Monday! I realize that I've done a Mani Monday post with this Essie shade, "With The Band" {here}, but this glitter Essie polish in "Golden Nuggets" is something I've been wearing on my left ring finger and is perfect for Christmas. Something tells me I will be rocking this glitter nail polish long after Christmas, though :)
