Mani Monday

Happy Monday! Although this weekend went by way too fast, a great nail color can usually brighten my mood. I picked up a Julep nail polish at T.J. Maxx a while back, and it's the perfect neutral shade {it's called "Debra"} - especially for spring! I love the quality of their polish, and think I might need to invest in some more Julep :)

Bathing Suit Season

I, like most women, despise the phrase "bathing suit season" because it often brings about serious anxiety; after hibernating during the winter months with lots of wine and carbohydrates, the last thing I want to think about doing is getting in a bathing suit. I've kicked up my workouts recently, and as a result I've been thinking about buying a new bathing suit {cannot remember that last time I bought one!}. Style Inspiration: Olivia Palermo

When I think of who my style inspirations are, I try to think outside the box and not choose someone who is overexposed or "cliche." But even though her images can be found all over fashion weeks around the world, I still think her style is incredible and original - I've got to go with Olivia Palermo! Charleston

I recently went on a weekend adventure to Charleston with my boy, and it was pretty perfect! We had an amazing time and totally fell in love with the city and surrounding area. Highlights include: dinners at Leon's Oyster Shop and Cru Cafe, brunch at Hominy Grill and Husk, mini road trip to Sullivan's Island, shopping spree at Candlefish, lots of local beer, and wandering around a new city with my favorite person in the world :)
