Friday, I'm In Love: Bourbon

I've never been a bourbon or whiskey girl {wine, all the way}, but I have been attempting to be more open to the idea since it's the boy's favorite. I made {this} cocktail this week and LOVED it, and I look forward to trying more fun bourbon cocktails this summer. I think next I will try to master the Mint Julep! Happy Friday :)

Summer Candle

Happy Monday! One of the best ways to cope with Monday blues is coming home and burning a great candle {and pouring a BIG glass of wine}. Friday, I'm In Love: Seafood

Happy Friday! I am so excited for this evening, and we don't even have any big plans - just cooking seafood! It's not something we make all of the time, so when we do it feels special - even if it's for no occasion at all besides is being Friday :)

Louisiana

I went on a trip to New Orleans my sophomore year of college, and I completely fell in love. Louisiana is such a unique state, and there is truly nothing like the culture, food, and gorgeous old homes {Cajun/Creole is my arguably my favorite cuisine of all time}. We recently rewatched the "True Detective" series on HBO and it made me want to not only go back to New Orleans, but to explore Louisiana in general.
