Winter Scenes

I know it's tempting to look towards the fashion and weather of the next season, but I am holding on to winter as long as I can. Mani Monday: Bridal

It is not a secret that I love nail polish, and thinking about what I will wear on my nails for our wedding gets me quite excited! I bought this nail polish after we got engaged {Essie's "Hubby for Dessert", purchase here}, and it is my new FAVORITE! I just may be rocking this Essie shade as I walk down the aisle in November... :)

Healthier

Although I try to be conscious of what I eat, and I did go pescatarian for over 2 years, I still don't consider myself to be a "health nut" or anything of that nature. I don't really have any New Year's Resolutions, but my fiancé and I do want to make a strong effort to cut out alcohol during most week days, and eat most vegetarian for the next month or so. There will be exceptions of course, but sometimes I forget how much better I feel when I don't eat as much meat. As challenging as it can be sometimes to want to eat more greens, eat less bacon, and not pour a glass of red wine as soon as I walk in the door, I know it will make me feel better in the long run. Any health tips or vegetarian recipes are much appreciated! :)

Friday, I'm In Love: District of Columbia

Happy Friday! I am gearing up for a long weekend in our nation's capital. I can't wait for 3 days of great friends celebrating a bachelorette! Have a wonderful long weekend :)

I love winter, and I especially love experiencing it in Georgia because I don't have to deal with snow or too harsh temperatures, but still get to wear lots of sweaters. Stationary Love

 I love beautiful stationary, and I've been trying to incorporate it into our decor instead of just using it to mail letters to friends and family. My absolute favorite brands are Rifle Paper Co., Hartland Brooklyn, and Favorite Story. I bought this Rifle Paper Co. card over a year ago, matted it in a gold and white patterned paper, and framed it. This year I plan on collecting more beautiful and meaningful stationary to decorate our home with :)

Black + Neutral

To say I love black and neutrals could be redundant because black is often considered a neutral, but I think black is a category all its own. Wedding Planning: Flowers

Happy Monday! Wedding planning is now in full swing for us, and most of the big items have been complete/booked. We don't have a florist quite yet, but I do have some vision about flowers for our reception, and for my bouquet; I love neutrals, some green, and lots of light peonies, roses, dahlias, and David Austin roses. Friday, I'm In Love: Home

Happy Friday! I am so excited for a quiet weekend at home with no official plans. I foresee a lot of Netflix, homemade meals, and snuggling with this sweet little girl :) Have a great weekend!

Winter Glam

As I mentioned here, January can be kind of a depressing month so I make up for that with fun, bright looks and accessories. Wedding Inspiration

January Inspiration

Happy January! I always feel emotionally torn this month because I definitely feel depressed once Christmas is over, but it is kind of nice to get back to a more normal routine. My personal philosophy about January is it should be filled with half of the time doing fun things {like drinking..} while wearing bright, fun colors {and new Christmas presents!} to feel a little less depressed, and the other half should be spent snuggling at home in warm knits, a good candle, and Netflix.
