Friday, I'm In Love: Fresh Flowers + Cat

Happy Friday! This week was pretty hectic, so I am looking forward to hopefully quite a bit of Netflix, homemade meals, and snuggles with this sweet girl. Have a great weekend! :)

Bar Cart Update

I don't care how cliche or trendy or "basic" it may be - I LOVE our bar cart. Styling the bar cart has been somewhat of a challenge, though; it can be difficult to find a balance of chic, and not too feminine for my fiancé. I recently updated it {with his approval!}, and I am pretty excited about it myself. I think the only thing it is missing now is champagne, champagne, and more champagne :) 

South Africa: Part IV

Winery day! One of my favorite days of the trip. The wineries in South Africa are breathtaking, and the wine is delicious. Our stops included Uva Mira, Waterford Estate, Delaire Graff, Monneaux Restaurant for lunch {delicious!}, and Tokara - I would highly recommend all of them!

Friday, I'm In Love: Italian

Happy Friday! Although we love Italian food and pasta in this house, we really do try to limit our consumption of the carb-heavy dishes. We typically reserve them for more special occasions, and tonight is one of them {anniversary!}. Cheers to an evening {and probably entire weekend} of pasta, pasta, and more pasta {and red wine}!

Wedding Planning: Veils

I knew that no matter what my wedding dress looked like, I wanted to wear a veil. A long veil, preferably cathedral. I was able to find the PERFECT veil for the dress I chose, and I cannot wait to wear it on our big day!  This day was one of my favorites of the trip! We rented a bunch of cars to drive up the coast from Gansbaai back to Cape Town, and it was INCREDIBLE.
