When I got my iPhone 6, I was kind of excited to get a new case for it. Kate Spade makes my favorite ones, and so naturally when I found this one with a shimmery champagne bottle on it {on sale here}, I had to get it! I also love this one, this one, and this one :)

Friday, I'm In Love: Summer

Wedding Inspiration

There are so many different styles, details, and ideas for inspiration for a wedding, and at first this really overwhelmed me. Once we picked our venue, it became easier because the venue will sort of dictate the style. Our wedding will be in an old, ornate theatre so it is naturally very turn-of-the-century glam. Magnolias

 One of my favorite things about living in the south is the abundance of magnolia trees. They are so beautiful, and when they are in bloom in the spring it makes me so happy :) Since I am from up north, they are still unique and special to me so I always appreciate them, no matter how big or small. We went to the Georgia Botanical Garden in Athens a few weeks ago, and we made sure to check out their magnolias:

Friday, I'm In Love: More Wedding

Happy Friday! I've posted a lot about our wedding and planning this week, but it's because we got a lot done this week and are getting excited! I can't wait to focus on the fun details leading up to the big day, but this weekend we might take a break from the planning and hopefully just drink a lot of vino :) 

Wedding Planning: Tablescape

The details of the wedding is what I initially felt most anxious/stressed about in regards to wedding planning. The options are endless and overwhelming, and I am such a perfectionist it just seemed quite daunting. But now that we have all of the big things finished, I am enjoying the little details of planning! The tablescapes are one thing I am excited about, and look forward to coming up with a vision. I foresee lots of white, neutrals, candles, and vintage touches. I just need my groom's input :) {image via Green Wedding Shoes}

Peonies + Peony Candle

 I know I just post about this candle recently {here}, but I found peonies at the grocery store this weekend so I thought it was appropriate to celebrate that with my peony-scented candle. It's my current favorite, and I think I am going to have to order another one soon since we've almost completely burned it {buy here}. I just love peony time of year :)

6 Months til I Do

We are officially half way until our wedding day! We spent a lot of time doing wedding planning this weekend, which wasn't all fun {wedding guest list is the WORST}. When it gets stressful, I try to keep things in perspective and remember what all the planning is about - I get to marry the best person I know. Friday, I'm In Love: Fresh Flowers + 3-Day Weekend

Happy Friday! I'm having a little 3-day weekend, and having a Friday filled with brunch, going to a movie, and LOTS of fresh flowers around our place. Yesterday I went out of my way to head to Trader Joe's for peonies, but they had none so I got some lovely pink roses; when I stopped at my local Kroger's, of course, what is there: peonies! Needless to say, our place is looking quite pretty :) Cheers to the weekend!

Peony Season

It's peony season! To me, this is almost as exciting as Christmas season but is definitely more fleeting {at least in Georgia}. Last weekend we went to check out the peony garden at the State Botanical Garden in Athens, and it did not disappoint. It's amazing how quickly the peonies come and go, but I still look forward to it each year. If only I could find some at the farmers market or grocery store to bring home!

Home Inspiration

We are moving to a new place this summer, and I could not be more excited to decorate a new space! This will be slightly challenging seeing how my fiancé and I have somewhat different taste, but we can agree on a few things: mostly white {my preference}, lots of house plants {his thing}, and a little bit of industrial chic {we both love}. I am hoping for a result with a few pops of color, too {fun prints and great rugs}. Summer Candle

 So I got a new candle {shocking}, and it is pretty perfect for summer. I have actually been wanting to try this candle for quite some time, and when I found it on Anthropologie {buy here} I had to get it. It's light scent does smell like sea salt, and it is the perfect bedroom candle for the summer months. This will be my go-to until it burns out...and I am forced to try another candle :)

Blood Orange Mimosa

I love mimosas, anytime of the day. no matter what day of the week. When I noticed blood oranges in stock at our grocery store, I knew I had to try out some blood orange mimosas at home. They are such an easy way to make a simple cocktail look and feel special - not to mention the prettiest color! This may be a new go-to drink after I get home from work. Cheers :)

Friday, I'm In Love: Brunch
