Last of Peonies

I get so excited every summer when I see peonies at the grocery store or at the farmer's market. They are such a special flower because their season is so fleeting, and they're SO pretty. Although I am a little bit sad that I have not been able to spot them at Trader Joe's in recent weeks, I am quite excited for the next season to arrive {AKA FALL!!}. Cheers to peonies, you had a great run this summer! :)

Ginger Jar Corner

I remember my mom's collection of blue and white ginger jars growing up; she loved her collection of blue and white anything, and I wish I would have asked for her collection before she donated them to Goodwill! {especially now that they are back in style..oops!} I found this one at Home Goods, and it was the perfect price {especially with a gift card}, and I hope to add more to my collection. I love the ones at William-Sonoma Home {like this one and this one}, and will definitely be keeping my eye out for ones at antique and thrift stores. Blue and white is my favorite color combo, and ginger jars can really add to any space :)
