Faux Fur Inspired

Home and Interior Design Inspiration: New Orleans

I love interior decorating as much as I love fashion, and I have come to appreciate it even more once I had my first apartment to myself. I would describe my interior decorating style as "shabby chic", but I definitely can appreciate other styles. I saw this post on this INCREDIBLE New Orleans home, and although it is not my signature style, I think it is just stunning. The exterior of the home is amazing, and I love the white kitchen, but I think the best part is that green living room with that beautiful chandelier {all images via One Kings Lane}:

Mixed + Mismatched

I've posted before about how I love Olivia Palermo's style {see here}, and one trend that I think she does perfectly is the concept of mixed, even mismatched, prints. Mani Monday

Happy Monday! Although I am feeling slightly depressed about Halloween being over, it is still fall which is great for so many reasons - including dark nail polish :) The NARS x 3.1 Phillip Lim collection was an awesome one, and the "Dark Room" shade is one of my favorite nail polishes that I own {purchase here}. I wore it a few weekends ago, and plan on keeping it in rotation throughout fall and winter. What's your favorite dark nail polish?
