Mixed Prints

Although I find it somewhat daring, I love the concept of mixed prints.  Seeing all of the floral-print pants with fun tops this spring inspired me to try mixing some patterns for fall.  I recently wore my favorite fall jacket with some leopard-print accents.  When I want to attempt a new trend, I usually start small but this is a style I want keep experimenting with.  How do you mix prints?

Chanel + Pink

Although I'd like to think that I don't have one definitive style, I often lean towards girly colors and pieces.  There's pretty much nothing more girly than the color pink and basically anything Chanel; below are a few photos of a newly acquired Chanel wallet and some of my favorite shades of pink nail polish - along with pink peonies and a DELICIOUS strawberry rose water donut from Destination Donuts!  Sometimes, all things girly is just what I need to brighten up my day...especially a Monday :)

Fashion + Philanthropy Friday

Happy Friday! Catbird NYC
