70s Inspired

I bought this hat about 2 years ago on sale, and it's one of my favorite accessories that I own. As much as I love it, I never know what to wear it with, or how to style it. This time, I wore it with my favorite faux fur vest and a new pair of sunglasses. It looked and felt very 70s to me, but I liked it. Only a few more weeks to get away with outfits like this before spring is officially here!

Wedding Planning: Registry

The time has come for one of the most fun parts of wedding planning - registering! We may not agree on everything when it comes to picking out decor, china, and flatware, but it is exciting to think that we are selecting items that will help us build our home and life together. We haven't nailed it down quite yet, but we are intrigued by Blueprint Registry; I love the idea of including items that we love that aren't necessarily from a large chain brand. Unique items from small businesses and artisans {like this Butternut Brooklyn cutting/cheese board} really adds something to a home :)

Friday, I'm In Love: Views from the Bar Cart

Happy Friday! This has been a good but challenging week considering we went through it without a drop of alcohol, and vegetarian-only diet {yikes}. But it is officially the weekend, and time to celebrate! We don't use the liquor on our bar cart as much as we should {more wine and beer going on in this place}, but tonight I have plans to whip up some cocktails. Cheers to the weekend! :)
