Pedicure Season

It's officially pedicure season: sandals, flip flops, beach days, weddings to attend - all reasons to have perfectly manicured toes! Being that I live in Georgia and it starts warming up here faster than other areas of the U.S., I got my first pedi of the season back in February {just in time for our Charleston trip!}; I opted for OPI's "Shorts Story" {seen below} and I thought it was a great shade for my feet. I often try to bring my own nail polish just to get some good use of the millions of nail polishes I own, but I do love trying a new color at the salon. What are your favorite nail polish shades for pedicure season?

Shades of Red

Red usually reminds me of holidays, but I love the concept of various shades of red for spring. For nail polish, a good lip pencil, and even accessories, I think red has a place in spring fashion. And I had to include dainty gold jewelry, per usual {I'm obsessed. Any season. Has to happen}. AND a cat-shaped iPhone case in honor of my newfound appreciation for cats...

I know I've mentioned before how much I love Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic style {check out here}, and I find my interior decorating style emulates that. There is so much beauty in simplicity and vintage/worn down items, and of course, fresh flowers!

Flowers + Wine

I love decorating a home/room/apartment, and one of the best and simplest ways to do that is by working with essentials - fresh flowers and wine! I almost always have fresh flowers in the home, and I ALWAYS have wine stocked up {saving a few of those bottles for special occasions!}. I'm constantly trying to think of new ways to work with what I have, but I am in the market for some new ceramic vases to enhance fresh flowers {such as this, this, and this}. 

Farmers' Market Season

Although I am more of an autumn/winter girl, I love spring and summer for the farmers' markets! The Athens Farmers Market kicked off its season a few weeks ago, and I've already started stocking up {I have some asparagus ravioli in the freezer, can't wait to make it!}. Black and Blue

When that infamous dress was circulating, all I saw was black and blue, and that's all I see in this one, too. This Rebecca Minkoff dress {found at T.J. Maxx!} is perfect year round and for any occasion. I think it will come in handy for wedding season 2015! :)

Roses + Rosé

Anyone that knows me knows that I love all things shabby chic and feminine, and that especially includes rose-colored items. I recently snagged a rose gold ring via Catbird NYC {buy here}. I needed {aka wanted} another dainty ring to complete my ring stack {mentioned here}, and I opted with rose gold to have a mixed metal look. Now, I just need another rose gold ring for my other hand to even it out :) I also recently purchased Rewined Candles' new rose-scented candle {buy here} from Candlefish in Charleston; although I have a general love of most scented candles, this is one of the best ones I've purchased in a while. It smells AMAZING! Once I've finished burning it I am going to need to replace it STAT. Important to note: this candle is best enjoyed with a glass of rosé :)
