Blue

I've always been drawn to shades of blue and green {particularly when it comes to jewelry}, and I like it paired best with a simple, neutral outfit. Below is an outfit I would basically wear every. single. day:

My Christmas Wish List

Last year I made an extensive post with SO many items on my Christmas wish list, so this year I wanted to condense it a little; I still have quite a few items on it {and of course there are more things I would love but didn't have room!}, but this year I really do not care what I get since I am just so excited to be spending it with so many people I love! It's called "wish list" for a reason, so I don't expect to get anything on here, but below are some items that currently have my eye:

Cool Tones

I normally gravitate towards gold jewelry and warm tones, but once in a while I like to wear silver/cool tones to change things up. I love the look of oxidized silver, and a metallic/mirrored silver clutch is something I think I need to add to my wardrobe.  And a fun pop of blue {how awesome are those heels!?} tops off any outfit perfectly :)

Especially during the warmer months, I think there is nothing better than adding some fun, feminine touches to every outfit and space in the home. Whether it's bright pink, beautiful fresh flowers, or something sparkly, I believe girly pieces are always in style :)

Fashion + Philanthropy Friday

John Hardy has been one of my favorite jewelry designers for quite a while, and I am always pleased to see how the John Hardy brand gives back to charity.  John Hardy is a green-minded company that uses techniques to minimize their impact on the environment.  With the purchase of the 'Bamboo' silver ring below {buy from Nordstrom here}, John Hardy will plant one bamboo seedling.  I LOVE their luxurious silver jewelry, and love even more that they invest in the protection of the environment!
