I love getting dressed up for the holidays! Although I normally wear a dress or skirt, this year for Christmas I decided to go for a fun top and slim-fitting black pants. I also love the idea of wearing non-traditional colors/accessories for the holidays, and some fun jewelry in pastel/blush shades is the perfect way to do it in my opinion {those earrings are amazing!}. Here is my take on holiday glam this year:

I am one of those people who "save" things for special events or occasions; I will buy a new dress and want to "save" it for a special date night, or order fun coasters from Etsy and "save" them for when I will make a fun cocktail at home. Even just yesterday, I posted {here} about how I have found my favorite Italian wine, but am waiting for a special occasion to enjoy it. But sometimes I think it's important to not wait for something special or fun to happen, and just go for it. Buy the shoes, wear the bright red lipstick and glitter nail polish, pop open the bottle of nice champagne. Life is short, it should be a party :)

Between Christmas Eve and Christmas, I actually like Christmas Eve better; maybe because the anticipation of Christmas morning is so exciting, but I tend to get more dressed up on Christmas Eve. Below is my inspiration for Christmas Eve this year which includes a little black dress, fun earrings, and a messy up-do!

When it comes to fall fashion, I feel that most people think of dark colors and lots of black leather. Although I love those things, I think it is also fun to try something unexpected like pastels and florals. Below are a few items that I would love to rock this fall:

2. Haute Hippie skirt via Far Fetch {here}

Even though some days it feels so far away, summer will be here before we know it! Below are some pieces I am loving for summer - a white dress, great sunglasses, a bright colored handbag, and neutral sandals to go with everything!
