Christmas Time of Year

Has it really been more than 2 weeks since we got married? Is Thanksgiving really over? Cannot believe how fast November has flown by, and it's already Christmas time. Between wedding, work, and the holidays I have definitely had less time to post anything/been too lazy, but I want to make an effort to post more during one of the best times of the year {second only to fall/Halloween}. I can't wait to get more photos from our wedding back too, and post them here. In the meantime here is a combo of both Christmas-related/wedding-related: festive scarf and holiday nails {OPI's "Big Apple Red"} + new antique bling that I proudly wear on my right hand :) Happy Christmas time of year! 

Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving! With a new husband, hosting for the first time, and the best cat on the planet, I'd say we have a lot to be thankful for. Have the most wonderful holiday with family, and be sure to eat, drink, and be merry! :)

Wedding

I can't believe it's finally here. It feels like just yesterday we got engaged, and the wedding seemed so far away. We are trying to savor every moment, and prepare for the best weekend of our lives. It is good for us to be here :)

Friday, I'm In Love: 1 Week until Wedding Weekend

 Happy Friday! It is the last weekend before our wedding week kicks off - I CANNOT believe it's here! We've been super busy finishing up the last details, and are now just so excited and cannot wait to celebrate with our friends and family  - and to get married :) I hope to spend most of the weekend doing what our cat does best: snuggle on the couch. Apple Pie

I never used to love baking, and pie was definitely not my favorite dessert, but now I am kind of addicted to both. Even though we are trying to watch what we eat from now until our wedding, I really wanted to make an apple pie this fall; I tried a delicious recipe I found on Food + Wine's website, referred to as "Perfect Apple Pie" {here}. Not only was it amazing, I used my beehive cookie cutter from Williams-Sonoma to make it a Beyoncé-themed pie. This is what a diehard Queen Bey fan looks like...or just a crazy person, you decide. Happy Fall! :)

Fall Farmers Market

Farmers markets in the spring and summer are my favorite, but they are also great in the fall! We went to the Athens Farmers Market this past weekend, and it was so nice to be there with the weather a little cooler. With some good coffee and a breakfast biscuit sandwich, it was a great morning, but picking up some seasonal dahlias was the icing on the cake! Excited to soak up all things fall throughout the rest of October :)
