Happy Valentine's Day! Whether it's going out or staying in, I have some outfit inspo that I think is pretty great for Valentine's Day. A date night out is always a great excuse for a LBD, fun geels, and a great clutch, but this year we are doing date night at home. A pretty top + necklace, leggings, and a delish home cooked meal {we're excited to try out this Food & Wine recipe} is my go-to this year. A great candle {burning this Bijou candle this week}, and a romantic movie we can agree upon makes for a pretty perfect Valentine's Day in our home :)

January can sometimes be depressing since it means the holidays are over, but I try to make up for it by wearing lots of fun, bright colors and florals, and focusing on starting fresh with lots of "spring cleaning", rearranging/redecorating, and cooking/date nights at home. I have had my eye on that calendar for a while and think I might need to order it now that January is almost halfway through; I am loving the floral scarf and necklace right now, and that paella pan is seriously a work of art - and makes me want to try a new paella recipe real soon!

Happy January! I always feel emotionally torn this month because I definitely feel depressed once Christmas is over, but it is kind of nice to get back to a more normal routine. My personal philosophy about January is it should be filled with half of the time doing fun things {like drinking..} while wearing bright, fun colors {and new Christmas presents!} to feel a little less depressed, and the other half should be spent snuggling at home in warm knits, a good candle, and Netflix. And maybe you could throw in a detox day or two. Here is my January inspiration:

Happy Thanksgiving week! I am SO excited for the holiday, and have been planning on what to wear. I usually lean towards a more dressed-up look for any holiday, but below is an idea for a more casual outfit {one that will allow for multiple servings of mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie}:
