Happy Valentine's Day! Whether it's going out or staying in, I have some outfit inspo that I think is pretty great for Valentine's Day. A date night out is always a great excuse for a LBD, fun geels, and a great clutch, but this year we are doing date night at home. A pretty top + necklace, leggings, and a delish home cooked meal {we're excited to try out this Food & Wine recipe} is my go-to this year. A great candle {burning this Bijou candle this week}, and a romantic movie we can agree upon makes for a pretty perfect Valentine's Day in our home :)

Happy Monday! It seems as though while I was out of the country, spring took over Athens, GA - and I am not mad about it! Everything here is in bloom, everything is so green, and the farmers market is back. This has me thinking of all things spring fashion, beauty, and decor. Below are a few spring-inspired items that I am currently coveting {the succulent cocktail napkins are a personal favorite! Image via Dream Green DIY}:

It is no secret that I love all things blush and neutral, but after seeing a recent post by Cheetah Is The New Black I love the idea of incorporating dark elements for a more gothic look. Below is some inspiration for dark + light - lots of neutrals with pops of black and deep wine {and gold, of course}.

I am one of those people who "save" things for special events or occasions; I will buy a new dress and want to "save" it for a special date night, or order fun coasters from Etsy and "save" them for when I will make a fun cocktail at home. Even just yesterday, I posted {here} about how I have found my favorite Italian wine, but am waiting for a special occasion to enjoy it. But sometimes I think it's important to not wait for something special or fun to happen, and just go for it. Buy the shoes, wear the bright red lipstick and glitter nail polish, pop open the bottle of nice champagne. Life is short, it should be a party :)

As much as I love pastels and florals for spring, I equally love neutral shades; whether it's clothing, accessories, or beauty items, shades of camel, blush, ivory, dusty rose, or light brown look so chic for spring fashion. Below is a dream outfit for spring, which pieces would you buy?
